Two more early Fall shows have their debuts this week with El Rey’s From Dusk Till Dawn returning for its third season on Tuesday and FOX’s new live-action / animated crossover series Son of Zorn having its bow on Sunday. That latter show debuts after the Sunday afternoon football game, so consider its 7 PM EST start time somewhat tentative. I’m counting last week’s debut of The Strain on FX as the actual beginning of the Fall season and two more shows have their debuts next week (American Horror Story on FX and Z Nation on FOX). You can see the full schedule of Fall sci fi & fantasy shows over at this link. Among the Summer shows wrapping up this week are CBS entries Zoo and Braindead as well as TNT’s The Last Ship. Braindead is the only one among those three that has not received a renewal yet and at this point it appears to be headed to cancellation. Apart from that, it is still a pretty slow week and you have this week and next to get caught up on your DVR queue.
