The Fall season is just about to kick off (you can see the full schedule at this link), so it’s time to update this list with the latest entries and status changes. There are 96 shows on this list including recently cancelled and ending entries. Around 90 of those are currently airing, returning, or upcoming through mid-season (I’m hedging on the actual number because some of these could get scrapped in production like NBC’s Emerald City which has been on and off for a couple of years). That’s up from the 86 we saw on the Summer list, and there’s so many shows here that you could slip in a joke entry or two and it would take a while for people to catch them. I’m guessing that we are not going to get quite to the level of one hundred sci fi & fantasy shows because I believe that by 2017 that bubble from the Too-Much-TV era will start shrinking if not completely burst. But then there are still quite a lot of shows in the pipeline, so I could be proven wrong on that point. And I’m sure that there are some Fall or early 2017 entries that have not made it to the list yet because I have not heard official word or I just missed them.
