This week, AMC’s Preacher wraps up its first season (it has been renewed for a second) with an extended hour and twenty minute episode which is immediately followed by the Talking Preacher discussion show. FOX’s Wayward Pines will also have its season finale this week, that one is still awaiting word on a third season. And, for those who are interested, it is Sharknado week again on Syfy. That network will air fur new monster-shark movies from Monday through Thursday and then will have a marathon of prior monster-shark movies on Saturday (such Emmy favorites as Three-Headed Shark Attack, Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda, and Zombie Shark). All this leads up to the fourth Sharknado movie on Sunday: Sharknado: The 4th Awakens. And that is preceded by a mini-marathon of the first three Sharknado films during the day on Sunday. Possibly of more interest to sci fi fans, on Sunday after the movie is done we will get a preview of Syfy’s upcoming Van Helsing TV series.
