Two more premieres this week as USA’s acclaimed Mr. Robot returns for its second season and Netlfix’s spooky, 80’s throw-back series Stranger Thing (starring Winona Ryder) has its debut. And that’s it for debuts until later in August when The Strain returns for its third season on August 28th (which means it really counts as an early Fall entry). Also, Fear the Walking Dead resumes its second season on August 21st. Also this week, Syfy’s Hunters has its season / series finale (we just learned that it has been cancelled). In the last set of listings, I had prematurely indicated that 12 Monkeys and Containment would have their season finales this week, but those will actually occur next week.
