Prime Time Sci Fi TV: Ash vs. Evil Dead Season Finale, Galavant Season Premiere, New Year’s Marathons

Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

It’s the last week of 2015 bleeding into the first week of 2016 and most shows are still on hiatus, but there are still a few with new episodes. Starz’s Ash vs. Evil Dead has its season finale on Saturday and mid-season for the genre shows kicks off on Sunday with the Season 2 premiere of Galavant on ABC. And Syfy’s The Expanse continues its first season with a new episode on Tuesday. Apart from that, this is the last week to get caught up on your DVRs because mid-season starts ramping up pretty quickly next week. As for New Year’s Eve/Day marathons, I noticed that BBC America has Doctor Who, AMC has The Walking Dead, and Syfy has The Twilight Zone.
