Prime Time Sci Fi TV: Business as Usual for This Week With No Premieres or Finales

Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

There are no premieres or finales for genre shows this week and no preemptions or reruns either, but there is plenty to watch with 29 (!) sci fi / fantasy shows on the schedule (is anybody out there watching all of these?). Also of interest, TNT’s Legends, which stars Game of Thrones alum Sean Bean, returns for its second season on Monday at 9 PM EST. I was tracking that procedural/conspiracy series last season, but it didn’t manifest much in the way of genre elements so I won’t be including this year because there are just far too many shows out there to follow! Also, the same network will be debuting Agent X after The Librarians on November 8th, and that looks like another of those crime shows that flirts with sci fi but may doesn’t really count as a genre entry. I will check out the premiere and see if it needs to be included here, though.  Also of interest, this week’s episode of Arrow will have Matt Ryan reprising his role as John Constantine as that character crosses over to the Arrow-verse.  Hopefully he will stick around for more than just one episode.
