Prime Time Sci Fi TV: Debuts of Sense8, The Whispers, and Hannibal, Plus the Season Finale for Bitten

The Summer season is starting to ramp up this week with three premieres.  On ABC, the alien invasion series The Whispers bows on Monday (warning that it was originally planned for mid-season so this could just be burn-off run).  On NBC, Hannibal kicks off its third season on Thursday.  And the highly anticipated Sense8 (from the Wachowskis and J. Michael Staczynski) starts streaming its first season on Friday (clear your weekend for some binge-watching).  This week also sees Bitten wrap up its second season on Syfy (and it has been renewed for a third).  And it’s best to get caught up on your DVR queue now, because more premieres are on the way next week (included Syfy’s highly anticipated Dark Matter) and the weeks beyond that.
