Prime Time Sci Fi TV: More Fall Finales and The Librarians Debuts on TNT

New or notable science fiction and fantasy entries on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

The Fall season is just about over and we are heading into the Winter break (which will actually be pretty short for some shows).  The coming week will bring seven Fall finales and most shows that have not wrapped up yet will do so over the following week.  But just as these shows are heading into hibernation, TNT is giving us the debut of The Librarians, based on the series of TV movies that aired on that network.  It kicks off on Sunday (then repeats on Friday), and apparently TNT does not seem concerned that the holiday time of year will impact the show’s viewership (check back here next week for the ratings results to see how that works out).  There will be plenty of viewing options to keep you busy for the week, and then Syfy rolls out the three part mini-series Ascension starting on December 15th, so there’s plenty to keep you busy.
