Prime Time Sci Fi TV: Atlantis Has Its Season 2 Debut on BBC America on Saturday

New or notable science fiction and fantasy entries on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

This coming week, the BBC’s fantasy series Atlantis returns for its second season on BBC America (taking up Doctor Who‘s timeslot as that one has wrapped up its eighth season). Apart from that, it as all the usual Fall entries with no preemptions or repeats for the week (expect to start seeing more of that, though, as we approach the holiday season). I should note that last week Syfy’s Australian import The Almighty Johnsons snuck back onto the schedule and I missed that. It airs at 11 PM EST on Thursdays which is technically out of Prime Time, but I am still including it here (as I have been doing with Haven, The Listener, Attack on Titan, and a few others). There are also a few programs airing on the Science Channel this week that might interest genre fans, so I have included them as well.
