The Charts: Z Nation Shows Up on the Social Net Charts, but Haven is MIA

Syfy got the Fall season for genre shows off to an early start last week and their new series Z Nation pulled decent ratings and apparently stirred up some buzz on the social nets. That series debuted in the General Sentiment charts at the Number 16 slot which meant that it generated a fair amount of activity across the social networks the night that its premiere aired. However, Syfy’s other debuting show last week, the returning Haven, barely registered in the ratings and did not make it into the social net charts either. Last year, that show was a regular entry in the Get Glue charts which measured check-ins on that entertainment-oriented site (it has since changed its name to TV Tag and stopped the weekly charts). But this year it appears that fans have lost interest.

In other chart activity of interest, CBS’ Extant fell completely out of the ratings charts as it dropped from the list tracking 18-49 viewership last week and it fell out of the total viewers chart this week (it still registered in the GS charts at Number 17). The series had its finale last night, so it might creep back in to the lower rungs when next week’s charts come out. And Under the Dome saw little progress from its drop last week in the ratings charts as it is now seeing more competition from the early Fall entries and NFL Football on the broadcast networks.

Otherwise, it was mostly the usual suspects in the charts, though expect that to start to change over the coming weeks as the Summer season wraps up and the Fall entries have their debuts (you can see the full schedule of genre shows at this link).
