Prime Time Sci Fi TV: The Fall Season Gets an Early Start on Syfy with Haven and Z Nation, Summer Continues to Wind Down With Finales for The Leftovers and Teen Wolf

Is Summer over already?  It is for Syfy as they get an early jump on the Fall Season with the premieres of Haven on Thursday (returning for its fifth season) and Z Nation on Friday (new series premiere, more on that on at this link).  Then, starting the week of September 20th, things really start to kick into gear with Fall premieres (you can see the full schedule of sci fi / fantasy TV shows at this link).   But before that, the Summer shows have to wrap up and two more have their finales this week: The Leftovers (HBO) on Sunday and Teen Wolf (MTV) on Monday.  Apart from that, the pickins’ for the week are pretty slim, so now is the time to get caught up with those shows clogging up your DVR because the Fall season will be hitting fast and furious before you know it.
