Prime Time Sci Fi TV: Falling Skies Season Finale, Star Trek TOS Movie Labor Day Marathon on Syfy

The Summer season continues to wind down as TNT’s Falling Skies has its season finale on Sunday night with a back-to-back episode airing.  Apart from that, the selection of Prime Time sci fi is somewhat sparse with The Leftovers, Witches of East End, and The Lottery taking a break on Labor’s Day eve and several other Summer shows already wrapped up (True Blood, The Last Ship, Dominion).  But next week, the Fall season gets an early kick-off on Syfy with the premieres of Haven on Thursday and Z-Nation on Friday.  And for those looking for something to watch on Labor Day, Syfy is running  a marathon of the Star Trek – TOS movies with Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country airing in Prime Time while the other entries will run throughout the day.
