Poll: Which of This Summer’s Not-Yet-Renewed Sci Fi Shows Should Get Another Season?

FX announced the renewal of The Strain this week making it the sixth Summer show to receive a pickup, joining The Last Ship (TNT), Falling Skies (TNT), Teen Wolf (MTV), The Leftovers (HBO), and Outlander (Starz) (and if you want to include Showtime’s Penny Dreadful as a Summer entry, make it seven). But there are still seven genre shows waiting to hear word on whether they will be back for another season, and this is your chance to cast your vote on which ones should get another round of episodes. Below is the list of shows still in pending status along with their current Cancellation Alert. Vote for any or all depending on which shows you believe deserve a renewal and I plan on sharing the results with each of the shows’ networks. I can’t tell that this will do anything to sway their decisions, but for the shows with the most votes, it should be at least one more check in their favor. And fans of these shows should also stir up some buzz on the social networks. That has become a recognized gauge of a show’s audience of late, and some good trending on one or more of the social networks can definitely be considered a positive in the eyes of the network executives.
