Last week, Syfy’s freshman series Dominion had its season finale, and even though that one has delivered mediocre ratings thus far, it has generated a fair amount of buzz on the social networks. For its finale, it rose to the Number 6 slot on the General Sentiment charts that track activity on sites like Twitter and Facebook related to television shows currently airing. That series has been on the GS charts since it debuted in June indicating that it has definitely developed a dedicated fanbase even if the overnight ratings do not reflect that. Also showing up for the week in the charts was new Starz entry Outlander, which landed at the Number 11 spot on General Sentiment. That one did not make many waves in the ratings, but that’s expected from a Starz show and it did still do well by that network’s standards. Also of note on the GS charts is the fact that CBS series Extant has held somewhat steady there despite the fact that it has been slipping notably on the ratings and total viewers charts. The rest of the chart activity had most of the usual suspects among sci fi / fantasy shows, though interestingly Teen Wolf took a notable drop in the Nielsen Twitter Ratings from Number 5 to Number 9.
