New or notable science fiction and fantasy entries on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans.
We are still in that nebulous gap between seasons so there’s not too much going on too much going on, but The CW’s late season entry The 100 has its first year finale (it will be returning in the Fall) and the second season of BBC America’s In the Flesh wraps up as well. Other shows winding down there current seasons are Orphan Black (BBC America), Game of Thrones (HBO), Believe (NBC), Continuum (Syfy), and Beauty and the Beast (CW). And early in its first season is the NBC pirate series Crossbones which may interest genre fans. This week’s movie of note is the 2010 sleeper Splice about scientists tinkering with DNA. That one airs on Syfy on Wednesday.
