Why Was It Cancelled? Despite strong name recognition from the movie this show was spin off from, it debuted to poor ratings in Fall 2015 and slipped to historically low numbers for a Big Four broadcast network show amidst grumblings from fans that it was just another cop show with a twist. Its episode order was cut from thirteen to ten which acted as a de facto cancellation and official word finally came at the end of the season.
