Why Did It End? This show never delivered high ratings for Syfy, but it was relatively inexpensive to produce and it developed a loyal following. It was allowed to go for five seasons (the typical capping off pint for the network) with the final season announced in advance so that it could resolve all of its ongoing storylines.
