Status: This four-episode animated series set in the Resident Evil universe appears to have just been a one-off. It did not get much promotion from Netflix, nor did it make it into the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 or Netflix’s own Top 10. There has been no word on its fate since it premiered in July 2021, so a second season seems unlikely. A live-action Resident Evil series will be coming to Netflix in 2022, so it is likely that is how the franchise will continue on the streaming service.
