Description: Olympus is a mythological drama series which will take viewers into the action-packed world of humans, Gods and monsters over the course of 13 episodes.

Olympus tells the story of how a few brave men and women banished the Gods to the realm of the unconscious – a place they called the Underworld or the Kingdom of Hades. The series follows the protagonist as he seeks the truth about his past, which may be intertwined with the Gods themselves. Syfy.com

Status: (Updated 2/26/16) At this point, I am going to assume this show has been cancelled. It has been almost a year since its first season started airing and we have yet to hear any word on a second season. It barely registered in the ratings for Syfy, so I have a hard time believing that network wants this one back with all the other development they currently have in the pipeline. Perhaps the Canadian Super Channel (Syfy’s international partner on this venture) will elect to keep it going on their own or with a different partner because this is probably not an expensive series to produce. But until I hear different, I am going to assume this one is done. If anybody has inside news on this show, please pass it along in the comments below.

Update 7/7/15: This one wrapped up its first season averaging just a 0.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic based on the overnights. If it is relying on its Syfy ratings, then I believe its chances of a second season are very slim. But if its international partnerships/financing are strong enough, then maybe it still has a chance.
