Description: Not Dead Yet follows Nell Serrano (Rodriguez), a broke and newly single self-described disaster, working to restart the life and career she left behind five years ago. When she lands the only job she can find – writing obituaries – Nell starts getting life advice from an unlikely source. Why Was It Cancelled? This show just barely got to its second season seeing as its numbers were pretty soft in its first year. But several ABC execs were pulling for it and decided to give it a chance to build its audience. But its viewership dropped in its second year and it was seeing a notable drop in its lead-in audience from The Conners. It also only received an order of ten episodes for its second season, which was not a good sign, and the network decided not to stick with it for a third season. Whether it will be shopped around remains to be seen, and fans should definitely make some noise on the social networks to give it a chance to escape from the grave.
