Why Was It Cancelled? BBC One announced that this series was cancelled because they claimed they needed to “keep increasing the range of BBC One drama”. It debuted in 2013 in the Doctor Who lead-out slot to strong ratings, but saw its numbers decline into its second season (where it shifted to a darker tone). The second half of the show’s second season is scheduled to air on BBC and BBC America in Spring of 2015.
Season to Date (StD) U.S. Ratings Results:
This show barely registered during the second half of its second season and now it heads off to the TV Wasteland.
