The Fates (and Netflix execs) have been kind the mythological Anime Blood of Zeus, as that show will be returning for a second season. The following tweet was posted on the @NXonNetflix account announcing the renewal:

A deleted tweet indicated that the show has been renewed through a third season, but that is not confirmed at this point.
The series did not make it into the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 during its first season run, but apparently still performed well enough to justify a renewal. Netflix’s performance standards for animated series appears to be different from live-action shows, likely in part because they are more pandemic-proof. The series was well-received by critics and fans, currently holding a 100% Fresh Rating and 80% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes. The first season wrapped up its main storylines but also suggested where it would go with its next chapter. The show’s creators have indicated that they have a five-year story arc planned. And while Netflix’s live-actions shows typically wrap up by their third or fourth season, its animated entries sometimes go longer. The second season will likely premiere at some point in 2021.
Blood of Zeus tells the “lost history” of the Greek gods as it follows Heron, the demigod son of Zeus, who finds himself in a battle with demons and giants to save Olympus. The voice cast includes Derek Phillips, Jason O’Mara, Claudia Christian, Elias Toufexis, and Mamie Gummer.
