Ratings Results of Interest: On Wednesday of last week, The 100 improved to a 0.2 rating based on same-day viewing in the 18-49 demographic with 669K total viewers. That was the episode that acts as the pilot for the prequel series that could get added to the lineup at some point next season. Those aren’t spectacular ratings, but for The CW in Summer, they’re not bad and should give some hope to those hoping the spin-off will get a greenlight from the network.
On Sunday, TNT’s Snowpiercer improved to a 0.33 rating with 1.2 million total viewers for its season finale. That show has performed well for its network in its first year and it was renewed for a second season in advance. Over on AMC, NOS4A2 remained low at a 0.08 rating with 341K total viewers as it continues to reside On the Bubbe.
On ABC on Wednesday, Agents of SHIELD held steady at a 0.3 rating with 1.4 million total viewers. That show is in its final season. On Tuesday, The CW’s Stargirl held steady at a 0.2 rating with just under one million total viewers. That show received a Season 2 renewal last week.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix, Returning, Status – Cancelled): Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been cancelled and will be ending with its upcoming Part 4. Technically, the show has had two seasons each broken into two parts, but overall they are referred to as Parts 1 thru 4 of the show. A Part 5 was planned by the creative but will not be going forward at Netflix. More on the cancellation at this link.
Altered Carbon (Netflix, Season Ended, Status – On the Bubble): Word is that this one almost did not make it to a second season, and Netflix has been in the cancelling business of late. Anthony Mackie’s presence might have helped revive interest in the show, but there has been no word on its status since its Season 2 debut in February which is not encouraging.
